Pubs

The pubs in it’s a trick of nutcase. As you know it I am not an alcoholic, I would even say that it’s the opposite, I drink little (all the posts opposed to this assertion will be deleted...). But in drinking a beer after the work, It’s like giving a kiss in , it’s normal. I always go to the pub, Friday evening, sometimes Saturday evening.

For the moment I didn’t visit much of it, I start to know the pub close of the faculty (Johnson Arms), the beer is good there but it isn’t what I would call a pub as I imagine it the beer is not expensive and all the chemistry department finds itself there.

On Beeston, I went in two differents pubs, one beside the post (last post), that does not like a pub, the Friday evening and the Saturday evening is full, of young people and less young people, the beer isn’t wonderful, the same for the burger but is nutritive, on the other hand it isn’t expensive the pint + the burger 4 euros for lunch 6 euros for dinner, and they make menus breakfasts, it’s possible to take there a Lavazza expresso, which is a real Lavazza expresso, and that it’s a good point. The other pub is close to the station of Beeston (Victoria), it really likes a truth pub, also full Saturday evening, the beer is good, not expensive and it’s a quite good menu. If I believe an English guy of the lab, I would believe more Canadian on quality of a dish (you see Virginie, I sacrifice itself for you the next time I would know where gone to eat a good burger in a pub on Nott.). I believe that it "I sacrifice myself" is a little too much.

Yesterday I don’t know why but nobody was available to go to the pub, I was alone, with Canadian post-Doc. (and his girlfriend) and my boss (and her husband) in the the pub. It’s not that I did not already do it before in but that’s bizarre to take a pint with your boss, especially when while in the pub, she says to you, "it is my round, JC what do you want to drink". After I was with staff, it’s bizarre, but the evening was cool. I could not pay her a beer, (arf I have to pay a pint to my boss, I dream). We succeeded in speaking about another thing that of chemistry, it’s already that, even if it nevertheless asked me how it had spent the week.

de toute façon dans les pubs à part boire de la bière je vois pas trop ce qu'on peut y boire, c'est ce qu'il y a de moins cher!!! Même moi je m'y suis mise c'est pour dire!<br /> Bises
